Charlotte residents have a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes of one of Amazon’s largest fulfillment centers with a FREE, educational tour! Experience firsthand how products are stored, picked, packed, and shipped, gaining valuable insights into logistics, technology, and supply chain management. This tour is designed for children ages 6 and up, as it involves a lot of walking and areas with heavy machinery. Advance registration is required, and parking is free.

Innovation Barn Sustainability Center

Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas
Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas presents JA BizTown®, which offers students in grades 4-6 the opportunity to operate a simulated town through an immersive, hands-on field trip that brings real-world learning to life. Homeschool families and school groups can reserve a date in advance and will receive a series of pre-visit lessons to prepare for the experience. Each student is assigned a role such as CEO, employee, or citizen, and helps run popular storefronts including Microsoft, Chick-fil-A, UPS, iHeart Radio, and more! This unique town is managed entirely by kids as they learn to manage money, vote for mayor, schedule wellness visits, and make everyday decisions.
