Students who enjoy exploring math beyond the classroom are invited to join the Charlotte Mathematics Club. Students will put their problem-solving skills to the test with a group of like-minded students. The club meets approximately once a month from September through May.
During each meeting, students can join their grade level or participate in the group that best matches their math background:
Elementary Group: For students who love math but have not yet studied algebra (typically grades 3–5).
Junior Group: For students who have completed a year of algebra and have some familiarity with geometry, number theory, and counting (typically grades 7–9).
Senior Group: For motivated students currently taking Geometry or higher-level math courses (typically grades 8–12).
This club is a great opportunity for mathematically curious students to deepen their understanding, tackle interesting challenges, and connect with other students who enjoy math.
